Kristina Francis is the CEO and Chief Possibility Officer of Kin & Commons, a strategic innovation firm transforming how families, institutions, and communities thrive. With a focus on multigenerational solutions that bridge the public and private sectors, Kristina leads Kin & Commons to center families in economic mobility and community-led design.

A seasoned strategist and former Executive Director of JFFLabs at Jobs for the Future, Kristina has led national initiatives that explore the intersection of emerging technologies, workforce transformation, and social impact. Her career spans over two decades, from software developer to executive advisor, including leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, General Dynamics, SAIC, and as CEO of Esteem Logic.

Kristina is known for catalyzing movements, mobilizing investment and philanthropic capital, and building coalitions that unlock generational opportunity. Her work has helped shape systems that support real families—not idealized ones—and has influenced national conversations on the future of work and learning.

She serves on multiple boards and advisory groups, including the XPrize Learning and Society Brain Trust, Black Girl Ventures, Templeton Academy, Academy of Hope, CivStart, and The Agora Initiative. She invests through 2911 Ventures, Citrine Angels, and Black Girl Ventures.
