Charles (Chuck) Martin, Senior Vice President & Regional Community Reinvestment Regional Manager at M&T Bank, develops relationships that assist the bank in creating successful solutions for under-served communities, their residents, and business enterprises.  Mr. Martin also serves on the corporate contributions committee of the regional bank and coordinates the bank’s community-oriented activities.

Martin has a wealth of experience in a variety of banking management positions, including residential mortgage lending, retail/branch operations, and commercial lending.  He has been a banker to both small and large businesses covering a broad range of industries; manufacturing, service, wholesale, construction, and church/non-profit organizations.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Lehigh University.  He is the bank’s representative to the Washington Area Community Reinvestment Fund, Meridian Management Group (a minority venture capital fund), Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore, and Neighborhood Housing Services of Richmond. Martin maintains membership with the Community Development Services Coalition, Metro Washington Bankers Group, MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council, the Baltimore Urban Financial Services Coalition and the Regional AI Stakeholder Work Group of the Baltimore Metropolitan Council.

 Past affiliations include: Chair of the Washington Area Community Reinvestment Fund, Board of Directors and Treasure of Associated Black Charities, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Community Investment Board and a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the Urban Financial Services Coalition.
